I am sad to share the news of the passing of former Board of Education member Emily Doherty this past weekend. Emily dedicated more than forty years of service to the Red Bank Regional community. Her compassion, wisdom, and sharp intellect left an enduring impact on our district. She was a steadfast advocate of the SOURCE, the arts, and for expanding educational opportunities for all students.

A proud and longtime resident of Red Bank, Emily will be remembered for her deep commitment to education and her strong belief in every student's potential. In honor of Emily Doherty’s service, the flag will be lowered to half-mast until Sunday, May 11.
